Even if you won’t leave home without your cellphone, camping is as worthwhile and fun as it’s ever been. And sometimes, you’ll just find yourself stuck out in the open. Here’s ways to use your phone and have fun out in the forest (or wherever else life takes you).

1. Take photos

Here’s the simplest one. Most phones these days have cameras. Use them! Get a better look at the world around you and commemorate where you are now. Flowers, animals, or just the road ahead: it can all go into your album.

2. Play some games

Whether it’s Google Play or the App Store, there’s dozens and dozens of games that run on a phone, tablet, or whatever else is handy. Whether you’re old or young, there’s probably something entertaining that you can put on, and play with, on your screen.

3. Play some (other) games

If you’re already taking chances with where you go and what you do, casino games can be fun to test your luck or just pass the time. There’s a huge variety of casino games, from roulette and its variants on, so there’s no shortage of ways to do this.

4. Write

It can be tough to do with a digital keyboard, but take notes, respond to emails, or even write a one-page story if that suits your fancy.

5. Check the weather

There’s the built in weather app, then there’s a bevy of options, like the App Store has to offer. But if you’re out in the middle of the wilderness, you really should keep track of the ewather. As you can see, there are a lot of ways that you can use tech to enjoy yourself, whether you’re stuck out in the woods with a flat tire or camping on purpose.

Relax and Unwind https://sidebysideracingproducts.com/relax-and-unwind/ Sat, 09 Dec 2017 11:12:36 +0000 https://sidebysideracingproducts.com/?p=28 ATV driving is notoriously hard work, and requires a lot of concentration – possibly more than that required to drive on a normal road. The terrain on which an ATV is driven is very different, and there are obstacles which one would not normally expect to see on an ordinary road. It is also physically demanding on the body and requires a sufficient level of physical as well as mental fitness. There are many ways of unwinding after a day out on an ATV, and each ATV driver has their own preferred way. For many years, people have gone to a Bingo hall to play Bingo which, after a hard day out on an ATV, is a good way to wind down. And with the wide array of online bingo games now available, this popular way of relaxing is available from the comforts of home.

Relax

Many people prefer to undertake something that requires less activity, such as reading or watching a film. And with the vast amount of technologies available, both of these activities can be accessed from the comfort of home, with a new book or film available with just one click. Watching a favourite genre of film, or escaping into a different realm, is a perfect way to relax and to calm both body and mind.

Unwind

Another way to unwind is with a calming activity, such as yoga followed by a soak in the bath. The act of yoga stretches and relaxes the muscles, and also calms and slows down the mind. And in a similar way, a long hot bath in a calming environment will soothe away any muscular aches and pains, leading to a restful night’s sleep and a readiness for another day’s ATV driving.

The Best ATVs out there https://sidebysideracingproducts.com/the-best-atvs-out-there/ Wed, 20 Sep 2017 14:01:37 +0000 https://sidebysideracingproducts.com/?p=16 ATVs are predominantly used for rough terrain. Their higher suspension and lighter body allows them to get to places that larger vehicles have trouble reaching. As such they are often used on farms as well as for recreational use. Whilst they may seem small, they are strong and durable and have the capacity to pull heavier loads than their size would indicate. There are a number of brands that produce rather exceptional ATVs and a couple of them will be outlined here.

Honda

The world’s leading manufacturer, Honda first started building ATVs in the 70s. They have had plenty of time to innovate and create new and better models, stronger and lighter with each incarnation. The Honda Fourtrax is, in particular, one of its top models. Excellent for farming, it has a lighter frame than others of its kind yet is still able to tow 385kg. In addition, it can carry a decent 250kg. Switchable between 2 and 4-wheel drive, the Fourtrax is a versatile machine great for use almost anywhere.

Kawasaki

When it comes to off-roading, the Kawasaki Brute Force 750 is hard to beat. It has a V-twin engine that puts full power in all four wheels, though it is possible to opt out of this if it feels too much. Its power enables it to react well and get out of trouble easily. An excellent front suspension takes out many of the knocks and bumps that might otherwise ensue and allows riders the ability to remain driving for that much longer. Its paint-job is not just a pretty finish but is scratch resistant too, so a simple wash after a day out will have this beast looking like new.Whilst these two are excellent options, they are not for everybody, but with so many options on the market it isn’t hard to find the perfect vehicle.

Where to Go For an ATV Day Out https://sidebysideracingproducts.com/where-to-go-for-an-atv-day-out/ Tue, 12 Sep 2017 14:00:22 +0000 https://sidebysideracingproducts.com/?p=14 It’s all very well having an ATV, but you need to have somewhere fun to go. With its over-land capabilities, it is a waste to simply drive it around a backyard or even on regular roads. Bearing that in mind, here are a few top trails that can make that weekend just a little bit more exciting.

Brock Creek Trails, Arkansas

Comprising a 42-mile set of trails, this track is a winding one with a couple of large loops and multiple smaller connecting ones. Beware when travelling along here, as it is not exclusively for use by ATVs and you can come across hikers, dirt or mountain bikes and even horse riders along the way. Keep an eye out and be respectful. There are also areas for those who prefer a slower-paced journey, and this way will take you through low forests and a few river crossings as well. With a range of trails, it caters to both the novice and the experienced rider with rough and smooth trails on offer. For those who wish to spend some time exploring here, there is also a campground available for overnight stays.

Hanging Rock, Ohio

Ohio’s Hanging Rock in Wayne National Forest is a 5000-acre setting with over 24 miles of trails for ATV usage. As with Brock Creek, riders need to pay attention to the fact that they will not be alone here and will be sharing trails with horse riders and bikes. There are some very challenging steeper inclines on these trails, so adventurous riders will have a lot going for them. A stunning area as a whole, there are ponds, bridges, rocks and trees covering the whole area, making this outing a very pleasant and scenic one.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Utah

Sand dunes are always fun to visit and, with 1200 acres of them, you’re sure to find the perfect spot. This is considered one of the top destinations for ATV-ers as it has a wide range of options from soft gentle slopes for beginners to steep hard-core trails for those who are more advanced.Whatever you choose, make sure that you are always insured on these outings!
